CSU Stanislaus earns high U.S. News & World Report ranking

For the 16th consecutive year, California State University, Stanislaus has been ranked among the best colleges by U.S. News & World Report.

“The consistent recognition illustrates our commitment and dedication to the academic success of our students,” said CSU Stanislaus President Hamid Shirvani. “Despite difficult fiscal circumstances for our state and region, CSU Stanislaus has been able to maintain a learning environment with strong personal attention to students from accomplished faculty.”

CSU Stanislaus ranked 53rd in the Regional Universities – West category, a segment which ranks public and private universities in the Western U.S. which offer mostly masters degrees and few doctorates. The university was 17th among public universities.

Highlights from the rankings, intended for prospective college students and their parents, are available online at www.usnews.com. The full rankings will be available in the U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges Guidebook, due on newsstands Sept. 30.
