Megan Michelle Anderson, of Turlock, and Nichola Paul Coy, of St. Helena, were married on Aug. 1, 2009, at Kestrel Vineyard. The reception was also held at Kestrel Vineyard, owned by Dale and Cyndie Brown. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii for one week.
Megan graduated from Turlock High School in 2003 and California State University, Chico in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in Agriculture/Plant Science. She is a member of the Young Farmers & Ranchers. Megan is currently employed by various viticulture companies in Napa Valley. She is the daughter of Terry and Sandra Anderson of Turlock.
Nick graduated from St. Helena High School in 2000 and California State University, Chico in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in Agriculture. He is a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West and the Young Farmers & Ranchers. He is currently employed by Pina Vineyard Management in Rutherford, Calif. Nick is the son of Nick and Marilyn Coy of St. Helena.
At the wedding party, the maid of honor was Christine Bonora, a childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaid was Pamela Coy, sister of the groom.
The best man was Micah Hope and usher was Kevin Ulrey, both childhood friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Natalie and Emerson Smith, nieces of the bride.
The bride and groom drove through downtown following the ceremony in the groom’s father’s 1924 Model T. Friends of the groom also drove and displayed their classic cars.
The couple will reside in St. Helena.
