POSTED September 4, 2012 11:26 p.m.

Andrea Fett put away 31 kills in two matches on Saturday as the Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team finished 2-2 at the Seaside Invitational at Point Loma Nazarene.
Fett recorded 15 kills in the morning win over Southern Nazarene of Bethany, Kan., and spiked 16 shots in the afternoon matinee against unbeaten Azusa Pacific (4-0) to lead the Warriors offensively.
The Stanislaus team played some extra points in the four-set win over Southern Nazarene - a 25-18, 20-25, 26-24, 27-25 Warrior victory.
"We passed well and executed plays. Kendal set well and our hitters took care of business," said head coach Christina Lore.
After holding off set-point at 24-23, the Warriors rolled off three straight on three Fett kills for the third set win. In set No. four, Stanislaus again held off SNU. Southern led at 24-20 but the Warriors scored five straight to take a 25-24 lead.
SNU evened the score at 25 apiece but a Melissa Bishop attack and a service ace by Crystal Tillett gave the Warriors the 27-25 win.
Chipped in for the Warriors were Jennifer Marsh with 11 kills, Jordan Harris, Bishop and Eva Chafeh each added nine. Kendal Muñoz had 42 assists and 16 digs while Ashley Pittman dug 20 balls defensively.
The first set against Azusa Pacific also went long with APU pulling off a 29-27 win. In the end, the Cougars won 29-27, 21-25, 25-17, 25-16.
Fett had 16 kills and Marsh 11 against Azusa Pacific. Bishop stuffed a total of seven shots, Jaclyn Pinasco had 15 digs, and Muñoz dished 41 assists.
The Warriors will take part in the Seawolf Spike next weekend at Sonoma State.
