Juliet David, 71, of Modesto, passed away at the Samaritan Village Hospice House on Oct. 22. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Zaia Church, 1457 Mable Ave., Modesto.
Juliet was born in Habbaniya, Iraq. She married Noel David in 1957 and they moved to California in 1971. She worked for 11 years as a line worker in a local cannery. Juliet was active for 12 years in the Batnahrain Society, as well as cooking, baking, and performing acts of kindness for others.
She is survived by her husband Noel of 52 years; three sons, Raymond (Brenda) David of Modesto, Alan (Tina) David of Los Angeles, and Amil David of Modesto; and five grandchildren.
