“Chuck” was born to W.O. and Lula House on Dec. 22, 1929, in McAlister Okla., the third of 10 children. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He came to California as a young man. Chuck met the love of his life, Joan, in 1966. They celebrated in 42 years of marriage. Bowling and being a gentleman farmer were among his favorite pastimes. He loved any excuse for family and friends to gather for the best grilled steaks ever.
Charlie is survived by his wife Joan; son, Greg and his wife, Linda; daughters, Sharon (Mykel), Shelley (Gene), Susan (Larry), Vickie (Kurt) and Ruth. His warmth and wit will also be greatly missed by numerous grandchildren, great grand children, great-great grandchildren, friends, family, and “The Boys.”
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to your favorite charity.
