A funeral service for Anna Jones, 88, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Anna was born Nov. 5, 1921, to Earl Boone and Lorne Fitzgerald in Mokane, Mo. She married Jack E. Jones on Sept. 6, 1942, and had five children.
Anna retired as a sales associate from Sears, where she worked for 17 years. She also worked for Montgomery Wards for 10 years. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Maze Boulevard Christian Church. Anna was a very loving person and will be missed by everyone.
She is survived by her son, Joe E. Jones (Chardell) of Redding; daughters, Frances Kay Perkinson (Alan) of Kansas City, Mo., Brenda Swartzbaugh (Michael) of Ceres, Geraldine Lewis (Jay) of Turlock; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jones; and her eldest daughter, Jacqueline Merle Jones.
