Four California State University, Sacramento fellowships offer a chance to work as a full-time staff member in the California State Assembly, Senate, Executive Branch or within the California court system.
Fellows in the Capital Fellows Program spend 10 to 11 months engaged in policymaking, public service, and preparation for a future career as they gain an in-depth knowledge of California’s government. Students also receive a monthly stipend, student loan deferments, 12 graduate units, health, vision, and dental benefits.
Applicants must be at least 20, hold a bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate an interest in state government and public service. No political experience is required.
