POSTED November 17, 2009 9:46 p.m.
Loving mother and devoted wife, Ivena Rebensdorf, passed on Nov. 13. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way. Internment will be held privately at Turlock Memorial Park.
Ivena was born in Texas and moved to Turlock as a teenager. She was widowed in 1983, after the untimely death of her husband Braxton Whitlow.  She has been a resident of Turlock where she had many lasting friends for 60 years. She enjoyed her second marriage to Henry Rebensdorf for the past 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Rebensdorf, and his family; her son, Larry Whitlow and his wife, Ellen; and her grandchildren Ray, Danielle, Lawrence, Randy, and Kaylee.
She is remembered for many things including the joy of her friendship and her enthusiasm for her family. Ivena’s wish is that any remembrances be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Sacramento.
