POSTED May 24, 2013 5:15 p.m.

Raley’s customers can now support disaster relief efforts in the tornado-struck town of Moore during their stop at the local grocery store.

Raley’s announced that it is designating all donations to Food for Families collection boxes at its checkstands in its 128 Raley’s, Bel Air, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source stores to Moore, Okla. tornado disaster relief, now through June 24.

Raley’s will absorb all administrative costs to ensure that all donations reach the victims of the devastation.

“We know the residents of Moore are hurting and we understand our customers want to help,” said Nicole Townsend, Raley’s spokeswoman. “We can provide our customers with an easy way to contribute and feel confident that their donations are reaching people in need.”
