Cal State Stanislaus soccer players Victor Regalado and Lisa Garcia both had impressive years, and they were honored earlier this week by being selected to the all-region teams.
Regalado, a junior forward from College Place, Wash., for the men’s team, was named to the Daktronics Division II All-West Region first team after earning the California Collegiate Athletic Association Most Valuable Offensive Player of the Year.
Garcia, who led the CCAA regular season in scoring with 11 goals for the women’s team, was named to the Daktronics All-Region second team. Garcia is a junior from Manteca. She set a new Stanislaus single-season record in goals in a season and tied for points in a season with 27.
