Private services will be held for James David Allen. He died at the age of 48 of lung cancer. James loved fishing and did it every chance he got. He fished with all of his family, especially with his nephew Bobby, his brother-in-laws Robert and Keith, and with his sisters and brother. We are so grateful that he is no longer suffering. We all love you JIM.
He is survived by sons, James David Allen II and Justin John D. Allen, both of Redding; eight grandchildren; sisters, JaDeana Davis Darnell of Sapulpa, Okla. and Regina Nadine Owsley of Turlock; brother, William Howard Allen of Minden, Nev.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many, many cousins that loved him dearly.
