Chandra “Lulu” Lauriana Barnard of Turlock, California, passed away on January 28, 2014 in a tragic vehicle accident.  She was born on March 10, 1984 to Marcus and Tammie Brumlow in Modesto, California.  Chandra graduated from Oakdale High School in 2002.  After graduating, she worked for the Design House in Oakdale as a designer.  She also worked as a security guard.  She married Michael Barnard in 2001 and became a widow in 2006 after having her two daughters.  She later had her son with Jason Smith.  She was a first-place model for Hawaiian Tropics.  She was a black belt in Martial Arts.  In her spare time she enjoyed the outdoors, animals, family, friends, and listening to Bon Jovi.  Chandra lived in Ceres, Oakdale, Hughson, and Turlock.  She touched many lives in her short 29 years of life.  Chandra is survived by her three young children Tehya 11, Amarra 8, and Jason 3.  Her Father and Stepmother, Marcus Brumlow II and Joanne Kessner of Turlock, California, Mother Tammie Brumlow of Jamestown, California, Stepmother Carol Taylor of Columbia, California, Brother and Sister-in-law Marcus Brumlow III and Trina Harris of Jamestown, Uncles Gerald Jeffery of Modesto and Raymond Anton of Sunnyvale, Aunts Gene Anton of Sunnyvale, Elizabeth Smith of Columbia, Debbie Brumlow of Modesto, Sharon Brumlow of Metropolis Illinois, Grandmother Shirley Brumlow of Oakdale.  Chandra also has 9 cousins, nieces, nephews and a big extended family.  Her enormous personality, wealth of selflessness, beautiful smile, wonderful spirit and many talents will be sorely missed by all that knew Chandra. 
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1111 E A St Oakdale, CA  on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.  All are welcome to join the family in their celebration.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Chandra Barnard at Bank of the West.
