CSUS Science Day fun for the entire family

California State University, Stanislaus is hosting their Third Annual Science Day Saturday. Among the numerous activities and tours, visitors can explore the greenhouse on campus.

Families looking for activities to do in the post-holiday phase of winter won’t have to look far as California State University, Stanislaus is hosting their Third Annual Science Day.

Science Day offers activities that the whole family can enjoy on a variety of subjects including chemistry, biology, nursing, math, psychology and physics. Labs will be open for tours and visitors will be able to see and touch skulls, fossils, snakes and skeletons, as well as experience the “Six-Legged Zoo.” There will also be outdoor activities including tours of the greenhouse and the Trans-California Pathway.

Students in kindergarten through eighth-grade can have their Science Day passport stamped at each activity for the opportunity to choose from a selection of prizes.

The Third Annual Science day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Naraghi Hall of Science on the CSU Stanislaus campus. The event is presented by the CSU Stanislaus American Chemistry Society Club, the Biology Student Association, the Blue-Green Hand Society, the Math Club, the Student Nursing Association, the Pre-Health Society, the Psychology Club and the Society of Physics Students.
