One of Turlock’s premier retirement communities, Covenant Village of Turlock, is inviting the public to attend their ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, as they reveal the extensive renovations made to their assisted living residence.

As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, Covenant Village of Turlock offers continuing care retirement communities, with both assisted and independent living residences.

After months of construction, the retirement community will debut the $1 million-plus renovations made to its Sequoia assisted living residence. The floor-to-ceiling remodeling includes high-quality finishings, fixtures and features, making for a comfortable residential ambiance while providing a supportive living environment.

“Our architects and designers collaborated to create areas where people can visit, talk, socialize and participate,” said Executive Director Robert Howell, “all the elements that build community while emphasizing wellness and quality of life.”

Covenant Village leaders and local officials will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony, giving the public an opportunity to meet with them while viewing the grand re-opening of the Sequoia assisted living residence.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, where hors d’oeuvres will be served, with the official ribbon cutting taking place at 1:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Covenant Village’s Sequoia Assisted Living Residence located at 2125 N. Olive Avenue.
