History of Business:

Venture Fitness is invigorating the local fitness scene with its unique approach to going to the gym, complete with personal and group training.

“With the group classes we have kind of done away with traditional systems most gyms use. We have set up a bracketed time people can come in at their convenience to complete the workout of the day,” explained Fitness Manager Fernando Alvarez.

The difficulty of the daily workout is tailored to each person’s ability and fitness goals. Plus, the clients can time themselves to complete the workout within the bracketed time which helps clients cater their workout to their work schedule while enjoying the support of a small studio.

“I think we’re the most flexible place around,” said Alvarez. “Even though we’re a group setting we accommodate all ages and abilities.”

While the environment at Venture Fitness may be unique, the gym itself isn’t new. Founded in 2009, the studio came under new ownership in 2014 and was formerly known as Sculpt Fitness. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is the gym’s focus on personal training. Whether the client is an adult looking to get back in shape or a student athlete interested in training, Venture Fitness will work with individuals and their unique, personal goals.

“We don’t just throw everyone in the deep end,” said Alvarez. “We try to teach people to live a healthier lifestyle. Our exercise philosophy is focused on longevity.”
