Elder abuse town hall

State Senator Jeff Denham and Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson are hosting a town hall meeting to discuss elder abuse prevention.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Covenant Village Retirement Home, 2125 N. Olive Ave., in Turlock.
Topics to be discussed include identification theft prevention, mail and telemarketing fraud, financial elder abuse, and scams targeting seniors.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
