The Modesto Police Department has arrested two men on attempted homicide charges related to a shooting at a party on Sunday.
Shortly after midnight Sunday, Modesto Police officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Charlotte Lane in Modesto for reports of a man shot during an argument.
The officers found Henry Thach, 22, with a gunshot wound to his chest and he was transported to a hospital. He has been listed in critical, but stable condition, according to the police department.
Detectives spoke to several witnesses at the scene of the shooting, and after extensive interviews and following leads provided, they were able to develop enough information to obtain arrest warrants for Kly Song and Marco Alcala.
Alcala was located and arrested in Modesto later in the day on Sunday. On Tuesday, Song was arrested at the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Office in Sacramento. Both were booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for the attempted murder.
