The Udder Place owner and former Marine Jerry Powell was presented with a flag certificate and a photo of Corp. Michael Anderson Jr. who was killed Dec. 14, 2004 in Fallujah, Iraq.  Anderson Jr.'s father Michael Anderson Sr., with the help of Congressman Jeff Denham, had a flag flown in honor of his son above the Pentagon on Thursday.  The flag and the photo will go on Powell's Wall of Honor at The Udder Place and be displayed for all to see.

"As a veteran of the Marine Corps and of Desert Storm, I respect the history of the Marine Corps and I know the sacrifices everyone made and I wanted to show respect to that and to other members," said Powell.

Powell said he encourages everyone to show their pride and invites anyone who served or has loved ones who have served or are currently serving to bring a framed photo down and they will hang it on the Wall of Honor.  Thursday marked the 241st birthday of the Marines and Powell hopes to make it an annual celebration at The Udder Place.
