The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Stanislaus State was able to raise $150 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in just one day this week during their annual “Jump for Jude” event, which saw members of the fraternity jump on a trampoline in the campus quad for 32 hours straight Nov. 29 – Nov. 30. TKE brothers, like Cristhian Gonzalez pictured, jumped continuously in shifts that are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the trampoline’s springs creaking throughout the night. While they jumped, the fraternity members asked students for donations.

“TKE believes in making better men for a better world, and by giving back to an organization like St. Jude’s, we are doing just that,” said TKE Philanthropy Chairman Carlos Romero. “We are striving to make a better world by helping the children who need it the most. We are proud to help out even in the smallest way, and we believe that the smallest donation can make a difference.”
