We've read of a "love-hate" relationship between Turlock City Council member Ted Howze and Mayor John Lazar. It seems Mr. Howze has taken the "hate" part to a new level in his March 24 letter to the editor.
What kind of message is Mr. Howze’s spite-filled words sending to our impressionable children and young adults, that it's OK to sling mud because it's politics? Is this really the kind of role-model picture Mr. Howze wants people to see — i.e. innuendoes, shady allegations and below-the-belt accusations?
And he hasn’t yet openly declared himself a Mayoral candidate!
