Visitation for Norman Medeiros Sr., 77, of Hilmar, will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. July 8 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel in Turlock. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. July 9 also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. It will be officiated by Father Hilary Silva. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Norman Medeiros Sr. was born in Turlock in 1931 and died at his Hilmar residence on Friday. He was a farmer for 45 years and enjoyed horse training. He also loved motorcycles and just having fun.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nancy J. Medeiros; sons, Michael Medeiros of Woodside, Randy Medeiros of Empire, Bob Medeiros of Hilmar and Joe Lema of Turlock; daughter, Kimberly Sasser of Livermore; 12 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
