Jose Flores, 69, of Livingston, was born in Morelos, Durango, Mexico on May 4, 1940, and died in Turlock on April 19, 2010.
He was a laborer for 30 years and enjoyed reading the Bible and singing.
He is survived by wife, Juana Morales, of Livingston; sons, Ignacio Flores in Newark, Arturo Perez of Mexico, Juvencio Perez of Modesto and Luis Perez of Mexico; daughters, Josefina Flores de Alvarado of Livingston, Delia Alvarado of Livingston, Angelica Flores of Livingston and Adela Guerrero of Livingston; 26 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias in Turlock. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. It will be officiated by Steve Allen. Burial will be in Mexico.
