Millie Taylor, 72, of Hilmar, passed away on Wednesday at Alexander Cohen Hospice House with her family at her side. She was born in Oakdale to Edwin and Lula Neilson in 1937. She lived most of her life in Hilmar. She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for about 15 years. Millie enjoyed people and country living. Most of all, she loved God and her family.
Millie is survived by her children, Butch (Karly) Jensen, Cathy (Tim) Chipponeri, Sandra Taylor, Traci Taylor, Dan (Cynthia) Taylor and Michelle Irvin; step children, Buddy (Sandy) Taylor and Barbara (Dean) MacKay; siblings, Edna Watkins, Bud Neilson, Bea Harp and Jack Neilson; 18 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Millie was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Taylor.
Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, also at Allen Mortuary, with burial following at North Hilmar Cemetery.
