Carl Albert Gebhardt, 79, died May 1, at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Gebhardt was born October 1930, in Chicago, Ill. to Herman and Marie Bohnert. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, and was wounded in the Korean War. After discharge he moved to the Bay Area and later moved to Stevinson, before settling in Turlock in 1988.
He will have a military service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7 at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.  Mr. Gebhardt was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline E. Gebhardt.
