Entering the 2010 season, Pitman High volleyball player Maci Murdock will have another accolade to boast on top of all the other honors and awards she has accumulated during her teenage years.

Murdock, who has committed to sign with Fresno State, was nominated by the American Volleyball Coaches Association to the 2010-11 Under Armour Girls High School All-America Watch List. The senior is believed to be the only girl picked between Bakersfield and Sacramento, as the recognition includes hundreds of players across the country.

Five other Northern California girls were nominated, but they all reside in the Bay Area or Sacramento.
