Two men suffered gunshot wounds from a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in Modesto.

One man was shot in the upper leg and the other was shot in his knee, according to the Modesto Police Department.

The shooting occurred around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Sutter Avenue.

The victims provided little information to investigators and police suspect the shooting may have been gang-related.

The men were transported to a hospital by a friend.
