A 21-year-old man is facing criminal charges on the suspicion he sexually assaulted an unconscious woman.

Nicholas Reynolds, 21, was charged with sodomy and sexual penetration by a foreign object on an unconscious victim, according to Turlock Police Sgt. Russell Holeman.

The incident was reported around 7 a.m. Saturday at the Boardwalk Apartments at 900 W. Zeering Rd.

The 19-year-old victim contacted the police department and said she was assaulted after going to a party at one of the apartments.

The suspect was apprehended after investigators spotted him leaving the apartment, Holeman said.
