Michael V. Cervantez, 48, of Delhi, passed away on Feb. 25 in Delhi.
He was born on Dec. 8, 1962 in San Francisco and was a machine operator for 25 years. He enjoyed riding quads, fishing and building model cars.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Celia Cervantez of Delhi; daughters, Serina Cervantez of Turlock and Jessica Cervantez of Delhi; brother, George Cervantez of San Jose; sisters, Ramona Saia of Livingston, Virginia Pomba, Mary Lou Sanchez and Anna Gaston, all of Delhi; and grandchild, Makayla Rivera. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Rosario Cervantez; brothers, Thomas Cervantez, David Cervantez, Tony Cervantez and Fernando Cervantez; and sister, Victoria Rominette.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 West Main St., Turlock. A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at private.
