Elsie Marie Carlson

Elsie Marie Carlson, 79, passed away at Brandel Transitional Nursing Center in Turlock on Aug. 6. Elsie was born in Ferndale to Joseph and Angelina Ferreira. She attended Orland Joint Union Elementary School and Del Puerto (Patterson) High School. She married William on Feb. 24, 1962 and moved to Delhi where they farmed grapes and almonds. She was a member of the Turlock Friendship Club and an active member of the St. Jude Catholic Parish in Livingston. She loved shopping, manicures, and spoiling her granddaughter.

Jerry Schell

Jerry Schell, 79, of Denair, passed away on Thursday, July 29 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. He was born in Rocky Comfort, Mo. to Earl and Mina Schell in 1930. Jerry was raised there until he was 13, when his family moved to Delhi.
