Stanislaus County sheriff candidate Juan Alanis, his daughter Kayla Yager and wife Barbara Alanis collected toys for Turlock Together and Jessica's House at Carnivore's BBQ Sandwich Shop on Monday night. The toy drive was the second such event Alanis has hosted during his campaign; the group was able to collect about 80 toys for the Modesto Family Justice Center recently as well.
