Congressman Dennis Cardoza helped construct a fence on Houser Lane in Modesto on Thursday. The fence was part of a Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus 20-home project called Hope Village. Cardoza presented keys to four families who helped construct part of the project. Habitat for Humanity recently partnered with the U.S. Congress to develop Congress Building America, a partnership that helps bring the issue of affordable housing to the attention of members of the U.S. Congress.
