Parmodh was born in Wailasi, Naitasiri, Fiji to his parents Shiu Ram and Sumintara Devi. He later moved to the United States. He was a priest "pundit" and member of the Northern Sikh Temple and the Ram Nam Mandir Temple. He was a very religious person and he loved music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved making memories with his loving grandchildren.
Linda Chandler, 59, passed away Nov. 23 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson after a brief battle with cancer. Her husband, Bob; daughter, Janielle; mother, Marie; brother, Richard; and sister, Judy of Kansas City, Mo. were at her bedside.
Wanda Mae Gunter Holder, 51, formerly of Turlock, died on Nov. 11, 2009, in Taos, NM, where she had lived for the past several years. She left behind two loving boys who she raised by herself - God bless her soul. She had liver cancer, along with other health problems.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Connie Sue Copeland, 44, of Winton, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17 in Merced, surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Secondary Baptist Church, 501 Q St., Merced. Inurnment is private.

Ana Moushoul, 83, of Turlock, died Nov. 21 at Emanuel Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 25 at St. Thomas Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, 2901 N. Berkley Ave., in Turlock. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Marjorie Miller, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. Marjorie was born in Texas, one of 6 children born to Mr & Mrs Harrelson. She was raised in Missouri and attended schools in Missouri. She married Charles "Chuck" Edward Miller in Prineville, Oregon in 1945. Chuck and Marjorie and her family ran a commercial fishing business in Kenai, Alaska. She was a housewife and was involved with running the family business for 50 years.
Thomas is survived by his parents, his fiance, 3 children: Joshua, Thomas, and Jordan Devine, 4 step-daughters: Hayley, Savannah, Kayla, and Madilynn; siblings: Brandy Devine, Nicole French, and Angel Standridge, and step-father Daniel Morad.
Donald Leon Swanson crossed the threshold to Heaven on May 14th, 2015 at the age of 91. Don was born on September 17th, 1923 to Warner and Vera Swanson, pioneers of the Youngstown Colony of Swedish immigrants in Turlock, settling on Swanson Road in Delhi.
