A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sam Wayne Reynolds, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at Turlock Funeral Home Chapel, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. A luncheon will be provided after the service to visit and share memories at 12 p.m. Aug. 8 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2618 Fine Ave., Modesto. Sam passed away after a long illness on July 31 in Modesto at Memorial Medical Center with his family by his side.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 8, also at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Shirley passed away on July 30 at Emanuel Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
A memorial service will be held for Leroy Sterling, 70, of Denair, at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at Valley Christian Center, on the corner of Second and North streets in Ceres. He passed away on Saturday in Turlock.

A memorial mass will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with an inurnment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park. Frances passed away at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday surrounded by her family.
Visitation for Delfina Ortiz Rodriguez, 90, of Turlock, will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., on Aug. 5 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Burial will be in Mexico.
A graveside service will be held for Allen Zanos, 87, of Turlock, at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at Turlock Memorial Park. He passed away at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday.
A private service was held for Oscar Sanchez, 19, of Delhi. Burial will be in Mexico.
Viewing for Yolanda Fuentes, 54, will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a rosary at 7 p.m., on Aug. 6 at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 600 N. Rose St., Turlock. She died on July 25, after being involved in a car accident in Turlock.
Services for Kankamma Nair, 72, of Modesto, will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with cremation to follow, Aug. 1 at Allen Mortuary. Kankamma passed away in Modesto surrounded by her family.

He passed away Tuesday at San Luis Convalescent Home in Newman.

Terrence Eugene McSweeney, age 73, passed away at his home in Turlock on August 25th. Terry was born to Eugene and Bette McSweeney in Oakland, CA. Terry was a graduate of Hilmar High School and lived most of his life in Hilmar and Turlock. Terry had many friends and with his outgoing personality, made friends easily. He had a long career in the construction business, ultimately owning two successful construction firms in the area. Passed away in his sleep on August 23, 2014 at the age of 93. Gordon was born in Nebraska on October 8, 1920 to Martin and Sena Petersen. He was the oldest of ten children. When Gordon was seven years old the family moved to Montana where he lived until enlisting in the Army Air Corps in December 1941.
