Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
Kenneth Ray Lowe, 74, of Modesto, finished his long battle with MS and went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family, on Dec. 5. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at Allen Mortuary, 247 North Broadway in Turlock. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10 at Shelter Cove, 4242 Coffee Rd., Modesto.
Myrna Lea (Haile) Johnson, 80, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 1, 2009, after a short illness. She will always be remembered for her lilting laugh. Myrna was born in Haviland, Kansas to W. Oral Haile and M. May (Stotts) Haile in 1929. She started school in Kansas, but in 1938 moved with her family to Turlock. Here, she attended grade school and graduated from Turlock High School in 1947. Myrna married Earl Sasser in 1948, and began her family in Tracy, Calif., where her three children were born. Services for Shamoeil Baba, 71 of Turlock, are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Saint Thomas Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, 2901 N. Berkeley Ave., Turlock. It will be officiated by Father Kmal Bidawid. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
