Evelyn Erikson passed away in Modesto at the age of 90 on January 9, 2015. A native of Turlock, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Erickson. She attended Turlock High School and was life-long member of the Turlock Covenant Church. She is the sister of the late Gloria Harmon of Modesto. Evelyn is survived by her brother, Gordon Erickson, of El Paso, TX; her niece, Sabrina Harmon, of Medford, MA; her nephew, Michael Harmon, of Modesto: and her great nephew, Eric Harmon, also of Modesto. A private memorial will held at a later date.
Loren David Coelho went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at the age of 43, as a result of a tragic farming accident.
Chano Tovar peacefully passed away January 7, 2015 at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife Diana Tovar, daughter Erica Tovar, son Lucas (Anna) Tovar, grandchildren Noah and Ayden, brothers Adam, Joe and Jeff Tovar, sister Michelle Johnson and mother Rachel Tovar. Billy Worden, 62, of Ceres, passed away at home.
Laurence was born in Sioux City, IA and was raised on a farm in Waterbury Nebraska and attended school there. He was in the Navy for two years during World War II, when he returned home he farmed for 2 years and then came to California in 1956. In 1959 he married Eleanor Skiles and together they shared 56 years of marriage. Laurence worked for the City of Turlock for 16 years and Turlock High School for 12 years.

Reuben Harold Spitsen, Jr. died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home in Turlock. He was born September 1933 in the family home in Hilmar on Riverside Rd. At the age of twelve, her family moved to Oakland, California. She graduated from Biola University, where she also met her husband Ted Dixon; together they shared 45 years of marriage until he passed away in 2006.

Jonah Peter Parker, son of Adam and Danae Parker, was born at 10:41 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2015 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. He weighed 5 lbs., 4 oz. and was 17.5 inches tall. He spent his short time on Earth in the arms of his loving parents. Jonah passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father just one hour after he was born.

Rinks Atsushi Sano was born on Bacon Island in the Sacramento Delta to Suyehichi and Tsute Sano. He passed away on Friday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center in Merced. His father moved his family to Yerington, Nevada when Rinks was a toddler to work as a sharecropper.
