Our beloved Scott passed away after a long fight with cancer. Scott was born in Turlock, went to schools in Hilmar and Turlock. He worked in construction and also worked for his father's roofing company in the bay area. Scott was a free spirited man, he loved old music and spending time at the ocean, where he loved to surf. Most of all, Scott loved his family.
Our beloved dad, papa, brother, Uncle Jack, friend and rock slipped sweetly from his earthly chains and is now free to be reunited with his sweetheart, Joyce, and many other loved ones in the presence of our Lord. Jack had just celebrated a wonderful 85th birthday week surrounded by family.
Shannon McCabe was born Jennifer Frost on 11/25/53 in San Francisco and adopted by Eugene and Lilian McCabe. The McCabe's were anxious to create a typical large catholic family and went on to adopt 9 other children, 4 daughters and 5 sons. It is unknown when she started going by Shannon or where the name came from, but most likely it took place during the late 60's as she was enjoying the era of personal rediscovery along with the rest of her generation.
Percy Lueck, 92, of Turlock, was born to Edward and Martha Lueck, the 9th of 10 children. His older siblings have gone to be with the Lord, while younger brother, David (Joyce), still lives on the home place in Renville, MN.
Eva Domingez age 68 passed on July 30, 2016 suddenly. She was born in El Paso TX. She had come to Turlock in 1964 and also lived in the surrounding areas. Eva was a fun loving person. She was such a giving person with a big heart and would help anyone out at any time. Eva was mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be missed dearly and in our hearts forever.
Linda Amesquita was born on Feb. 1956 To Basilio and Felia Amesquita. She attended grammar school in the Turlock area. She graduated from Turlock High in 1976 and graduated from Modesto Jr. College in 1978 with a certificate in child development. She worked at Stanislaus State as a secretary for six years, she also worked as a cashier at Turlock Kmart. She then devoted her life and time as caregiver to her parents full time until both mom and dad passed away. She continued to give her time as a volunteer for Hospice for 15 years at Emanuel Hospital. She ...
Leona was born in Modesto, CA to Bernard and Ruth Farr. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her husband Bill of 53 years. She leaves three children: Jane Sullivan (John) of Midpines, CA, Linda Quinn (Hal) of Denair, and Bill Strong, Jr. (Lynette) of Modesto. She leaves seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
