Carl Milton Peterson passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at Covenant Village Care Center in Turlock, CA. He was born in Denair, CA, to Gus and Teckla Peterson. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Caleb and Conrad; his first wife, Viola Johnson Peterson; and his second wife, Esther Thorsen Peterson.
Riley Edgin, beloved husband and father, passed away on July 3, 2012. He is survived by his father Douglas; sisters Janice and Sharon; brother Rory; wife Evelyn; children Shonda, Riley Douglas, Kristopher, Devin, Kyle, Kelsea, Alex; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Hiro Asai was born in Turlock (Cortez), CA, and passed away July 26, 2012 after a month-long illness in St. Mary's Medical Center, San Francisco, CA. He was 88 years old. He was married to Hisako "Hisa" Asai for 65 years.

Allan Townsend, 34, of Livingston passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. Allan was a long time resident of Turlock. Attending school throughout his childhood here, he had many friends in this area.
Floyd Eugene Coleman passed away on July 26, 2012 at the age of 79 at Doctors Medical Center. He was born in Joplin, Missouri on July 8, 1933 to John and Thelma Coleman.
Turlock resident Ila Mae Coonce went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2012. She was beloved by all who knew her. Ila was born to Elbert Coonce and Joy Hodges Coonce Morse on November 10, 1944 in Haywood, CA. She was the eldest of seven children.
Pearl was born in Auburn, CA to Walter and Juanita Lang in 1927. She lived in Loomis for three years on an apple ranch before moving to Cupertino and then settling in Turlock in 1937. In 1947 she married David H. Lewis and they shared 64 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. Pearl worked for AT&T for 37 years. Eleven years ago, Pearl and David moved to Stockton and during that time attended Woodbridge Community Church.
Arlene Duncan was born in Stockton, CA on April 26, 1941 and passed away in Hughson, CA on July 21, 2012. For the last 39 years she resided in Oakhurst, CA. Arlene was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years. She was a life member of Fresno Field Archers, Sierra Historical Society, Turlock Horseman Club, Fresno 4 Wheelers Club, and she was also a 4-H horse leader.
Leona was born December 6, 1918, to parents Louis and Sarepta Shormann in Shelton, Nebraska. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She joined her beloved husband Albert F McRoberts of 55 ½ years into heaven on Friday, July 20, 2012.
Gerald L. (Jerry) Pankratz went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2012. He passed away very peacefully, after a very short but fierce battle with cancer, with his family surrounding him at the Hospice House of San Joaquin County. Launa was born in Hazard County, Kentucky to James and Cassie Begley and passed away at the age of 80 in Turlock, California. She was one of eight children who grew up in a modest home in Kentucky. At the age of twelve, her family moved to Oakland, California. She graduated from Biola University, where she also met her husband Ted Dixon; together they shared 45 years of marriage until he passed away in 2006.
She is survived by her daugters Tamara and Kelin Hritz; adopted daughter Christine Alcantara; brother Ken Feliciano; Godson/nephew Carl Rose; nieces Megan and Kristin Feliciano; nieces/nephews William and Paula Fredson; cousin Kimberly Vally; her best friends Roxanne Grubb, Judi Price and Pamela McGuire, and her dogs Copper, Lucky, Puppy and Maggy.
Jonah Peter Parker, son of Adam and Danae Parker, was born at 10:41 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2015 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. He weighed 5 lbs., 4 oz. and was 17.5 inches tall. He spent his short time on Earth in the arms of his loving parents. Jonah passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father just one hour after he was born.

Rinks Atsushi Sano was born on Bacon Island in the Sacramento Delta to Suyehichi and Tsute Sano. He passed away on Friday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center in Merced. His father moved his family to Yerington, Nevada when Rinks was a toddler to work as a sharecropper. Warren is survived by his two daughters Cheryl Santos of Newman, CA and Joanie Hall of Torrance, CA, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his second wife Margaret Brown and his son Gary Eugene Brown in 2006, one sister and one brother.
She is survived by her children Roxanne Eaves, Michelle (Jermaine Davis) Howard and Andrew Rochin; father Donald Rochin; siblings Donna Marr, Anthony Rochin and Mark Rochin and six grandchildren Tyler, Jacqueline, D'Mya, Janessa, Jasmine and Darwin.
