Age 90 entered into rest in Turlock, Ca. She was born in Westville, Ok. And she was a charter member of Emanuel Baptist Church of Livingston where she was involved as a deaconess, music leader, served on the hostess and finance committees and worked in the food pantry. She also taught English as a second language and worked with Meals on Wheels in Livingston.
Juanita Mutschler, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Covenant Village Care Center. Juanita was born in Elk City, Oklahoma to Clyde and Dosha Wheeler and attended a one room school in Canute, OK. In November of 1938 she married the love of her life, Lewis Mutschler, who preceded her in death in 1990 after 52 years of marriage. They lived in San Jose, CA, moved to Rudy, Arkansas, and finally settled in Turlock in 1982. Juanita was also preceded in death by three siblings: Loyd Wheeler, Violet Stinson, and Joy Wheeler.

Eugene "Gener" Turner, 79 of Keyes, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House on Friday, November 11th. Eugene was born in Oklahoma to Charles and Frances Walker, and moved to California in 1941, settling in Stanislaus County. Gener has been a faithful member of the Keyes Assembly of God for many years, where she attended with her daughter Jeanette and friends. She was a wonderful, kind, giving and loving mother and friend. She enjoyed crocheting and making things for others.
Long-time Turlock resident and building contractor John Rankin Wallace passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 26. Known as "Rankin," he built many homes in the "Bettencourt Estates", "La Mesa Park" and "Peacock Estates" sections of Turlock.

Richard William Lopes was born in Hilmar, California to John and Virginia Lopes on May, 19, 1942. He lived there until he enlisted in the US Navy. He married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Forgnone, and they lived in Long Beach while he served. They had two daughters, Leann and Laurie, and they set up their home in Turlock for the next forty years. Richard lost his beloved Carolyn to illness and married Linda Murphy in 2008 where he gained two more children, Lori and Michael.

At the age of twelve, her family moved to Oakland, California. She graduated from Biola University, where she also met her husband Ted Dixon; together they shared 45 years of marriage until he passed away in 2006.

Jonah Peter Parker, son of Adam and Danae Parker, was born at 10:41 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2015 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. He weighed 5 lbs., 4 oz. and was 17.5 inches tall. He spent his short time on Earth in the arms of his loving parents. Jonah passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father just one hour after he was born.

Rinks Atsushi Sano was born on Bacon Island in the Sacramento Delta to Suyehichi and Tsute Sano. He passed away on Friday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center in Merced. His father moved his family to Yerington, Nevada when Rinks was a toddler to work as a sharecropper.
