Everett was born on the Binford Ranch in Denair. He died at his home in Turlock after a courageous three-year battle with ALS. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa, and brother. Everett was the first of four children born to Everett Sr. and Beulah Allen.
Esther Thorsen Peterson passed away peacefully at age 91 on August 16, 2011 at Covenant Village Care Center in Turlock, CA. She was born in 1920 to Andy and Bertha N. Thorsen and was a native of Turlock. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Rodney and Andy Jr. and sisters, Ruth Thorsen Tilden and Naomi Thorsen.
Karen was born to Juanita (Jo) Belleville Genseal and James Franklin Genseal (Frank) on November 16, 1940, in Astoria, Illinois. She was the third child born to Jo and Frank. A brother, John, was the first-born and then the middle child, Phyllis. Karen always stated that she had a normal family life growing up. Her father, Frank, was a seed salesman and she always recalled the joy of the simple and naïve life in the small Midwestern town.
Lionel (Bud) Joseph Carpenter was born in Cook, Minnesota in July 1917 to Nazaire and Josephine Carpentier. He married Thelma Sandland in November, 1940 in Grygla, MN. A part of the Greatest Generation, Bud served as a Metalsmith in the U.S. Navy during WWII. During the war they lived in St. Augustine, FL where they survived a hurricane. After the war they settled in Minneapolis. He took a second job to earn the down payment on their first home located in Crystal, MN in 1951.

Austin Cowan, 85, loved BBQ, ragtime tunes, joking around, and reminiscing about working for "Ma Bell." Born in Hope, NM, to Vera and Audi Cowan, he came of age during the Great Depression. A hard working and determined man, he made a career with the Bell Telephone Company helping advance our nation's communication infrastructure. Austin had an adventurous life with many chapters.
Kirk James passed away after a short illness at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. He grew up in Delhi, attended schools there and graduated from Livingston High School in 1976. Kirk worked for Norcal Nursery and for the last 2 ½ years worked for Wendell Trinkler Jr.
Alice went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Sept 25, 2014. Alice attended the Neighborhood Church of Redding for 30 years and was an active member of Stephens Ministries. Alice lived a full and happy life; she enjoyed shopping, playing cards, QVC and dancing. She was an avid square dancer for many years. She had many wonderful friends.
