Hilda (Bettencourt) Marson entered into her eternal reward on Wednesday at her home with her family at her bedside. She was born in Hilmar to Manuel and Mary Bettencourt and lived on the family dairy her entire life. She graduated from Hilmar High School in 1944. She worked for Souza's Propane and Furniture store while attending college to get her bachelor's degree in Education.

Lloyd Zimmerman, 81, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Lloyd was born in Kansas and spent some time moving around the U.S., from New York to California. In 1943, Lloyd joined the U.S. Navy, serving his country for approximately 13 years, including fighting for his country during WW II. New York is where he met the woman whom he would share his life with, Rose. They were married nearly 40 years before she passed away in 1992.

Marie Moore died of natural causes at her home in the loving embraces of her family.
Marie was born on Indian territory in Chouteau, Okla. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage. She relocated to Turlock in 1935 with her husband and son. Neta "Kay" Pinney, 70, passed away on Feb. 6, 2011, at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. She was born April 1940 in Oklahoma to the late Jack and Lizzie Shackelford. She came to Turlock when she was 2 years old and graduated from Turlock High School in 1958. She married Melvin Pinney in June of 1958. Marina K. Atherton, 60, of Modesto, was born in Inglewood and passed away unexpectedly Thursday at Doctors Medical Center.
Marina moved to Modesto in 1959, and attended local schools graduating from Davis High School in 1969. In 1970 she married George Atherton.

Wesley Ernest Browning was born on June 3, 1916 to proud parents Tom and Lou Browning. He was one of eight brothers and three sisters.

Sandra Burns, 55, of Turlock, passed away at Memorial Hospital. She was born in Beckley, W.V. to Charles and Alma Plumley in 1955. Sandra was raised in Shady Spring, W.V. Mary Genevieve Pereira

Mary Pereira, 86, of Turlock, passed away at Elness Convalescent Hospital on Wednesday. Mary was born in Hughson to Casmiro and Arminda Espinola. She grew up in Hughson until her marriage to Marion Pereira in 1947. At that time they moved to Turlock. They have been members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was active in the Young Ladies Institute and the Sacred Heart Mothers' Guild. In addition to her homemaking, Mary enjoyed gardening and needlework. Her family has been a vital part of her life. Bob Disney, 88, of Modesto, went home to be with the Lord after a short but brave battle with cancer, with his loving family at his side. Bill Green passed away in Marysville, Washington after a long battle with Cancer. Completing his Vietnam tour with the United States Army in 1969, he began a 30 year career in the electronics distribution industry. Kevin Richard Stach, 75, of Turlock, passed away at his home on April 12, 2105. He was born July 4, 1939 in Nezperce, Idaho. After graduating from high school in Olympia, Washington he came to California and worked at the General Motors plant in Fairfield. When the plant closed and moved to Missouri he relocated there and finished his career with GM. After retiring Mr. Stach moved to Turlock. Kevin was a dune buggy enthusiast and loved working on Volkswagens. He volunteered at the Turlock V.F.W. and enjoyed cooking for their dinners and events.
