Terry Lynn Jones, 47, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Merced after an acute illness. She was a native of Santa Cruz and had only lived in Merced for about a year. She previously resided in Chowchilla for 22 years. She loved horses and her dog, Ziggy.
Hari S. Hundal, 95, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Hari was born in India and worked there as a farmer from the time he was a very young child until coming to the U.S. in 1994.

Kenneth Jepson passed peacefully away in his sleep at the age of 80 in January 2010. Kenneth was born to Horace and Clare Jepson in Birmingham, England and moved to California in 1967 with his beloved wife, Jean. Kenneth was a mechanical plant and project engineer and lived in Modesto since 1970. He was a Toast Master for 11 years, belonged to the Handicapped Society and was a "Young at heart" instructor. Nova Menzies, 89, was born to Robert and Mary Wattle in Caruthersville, MO. They moved to Indio, Calif. after World War II and then soon moved on to Turlock. Nova worked in the food service industry and at a local doughnut shop for years. In 1976, she married Vernon Menzies and together they worked long days six days a week to keep the Penguin Ice Cream Company going. They traveled around in their own plane when they were able to take breaks from their work schedule. They belonged to the Turlock VFW.
