Jerry Van Winkle, 52, died Nov. 17 at Doctors Hospital in Modesto. There will be a gathering for family and friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 at 12344 26-Mile Road, Oakdale, in the Recreation Hall.
Ana Moushoul, 83, of Turlock, died Nov. 21 at Emanuel Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 25 at St. Thomas Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, 2901 N. Berkley Ave., in Turlock. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Roudel passed away with his loving wife, Samrideh, and daughter, Linda, by his side. Roudel was a member of the Civic Club for many years. He enjoyed traveling and having picnics with family and friends. He leaves behind his wife, Samrideh; daughter, Linda; grandson, Ben; and granddaughter, Benita. A special thank you to his cousin Fred Younan, who was more like a brother he has been such a tremendous help to his family.
Jorge Jacome, 88, of Delhi passed in Modesto on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Doctor's Hospital. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico to Baltazar Jacome and Rose Flores Sanchez in 1921. Jorge lived in Mexico until the age of 21, when he moved to Chicago. In 1943, Jorge moved to San Jose and in 1992, settled in Delhi. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
Carol Alford, 70, of rural St. James, went to be with her Lord on Saturday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Rolla Bible Church, 1801 E. 10th St., Rolla, Mo. All friends and family are invited to attend the service and remember her wonderful life.
Frank "Junior" Abuan, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. Viewing will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Allen Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at Turlock Memorial Park.

A funeral Mass of Catholic burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow the mass at Turlock Memorial Park. Lunch will be served following the ceremonies.

Billy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Harvey and Lillian Mills and passed away after a sudden illness at the age of 86. He was the second of three children. His family settled in Hughson and Billy graduated from Hughson High School and excelled in basketball and baseball. Leonard Mendonca, 80, of Turlock passed away suddenly at home on June 24, 2015. Leonard was born to Caetano and Adeline Mendonca in Modesto, Ca. He attended Roselawn School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1951. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician and was the DJ on board the destroyer U.S.S. McKean. Helen C. Smith, age 97, of Hughson, California passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Samaritan Village. She was born November 8, 1917 in Jamestown, Rhode Island to Daniel and Margaret Murray. She graduated High School from Newport High School in Rhode Island before receiving her Bachelors Degree. She married Irving E. Smith November 9, 1942 in New York City. She was a Pediatric Nurse for 35 years. They lived in New York City, Long Island, and San Diego before settling in Hughson twelve years ago. Helen enjoyed golfing, ballroom dancing, and bridge.
Elyn Jean Gregg, our beautiful mom, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the amazing age of 99. Mom was born in September of 1915 in Oakland, Nebraska, the 3rd of 5 children born to John and Ebba Nelson. The Nelson family moved to California in 1923 and after living in Denair and Delhi, they moved to the family farm in Hughson.
