Bud Parker was born in Forsyth, Mont. to Cline and Lela Parker in August 1935. He lived in Eureka, Calif. for years before moving to the Turlock area in 1992. He was a manager in the plumbing and building supply industry before starting his own business. He was a gifted craftsman and specialized in furniture restoration as well as building custom specialty items. He had a heart for helping people and often reached out to listen and help those in need around him.
Kevin William Michael went to be with the Lord on Oct. 11, 2009, due to a tragic car accident. A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 324 College Ave., Modesto.

Garegori Dirro, 77 of Modesto, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto. He was born in Russia to Mikhail and Laya in 1932. In 2006, he settled in Turlock. Garegori was a member of the Church of the East Mar Addai. Family and God were his life.
Neil Philip Decker, 68 of Turlock, passed away at home with his wife by his side. The committal service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

Marjorie S. Fischer, 72, passed away at her home after a battle with kidney disease. Private services were held at Turlock Memorial Park.

Ray Moen, 92, of Turlock, passed away Saturday following a brief illness. A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Crossroads Church with a private burial.
Verne Crowell died peacefully at home on April 3, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 8, 1916 at home on the corner of Monte Vista and Walnut Rd. and died in the home he built on the corner of Monte Vista and Crowell Rd.
Kevin Richard Stach, 75, of Turlock, passed away at his home on April 12, 2105. He was born July 4, 1939 in Nezperce, Idaho. After graduating from high school in Olympia, Washington he came to California and worked at the General Motors plant in Fairfield. When the plant closed and moved to Missouri he relocated there and finished his career with GM. After retiring Mr. Stach moved to Turlock. Kevin was a dune buggy enthusiast and loved working on Volkswagens. He volunteered at the Turlock V.F.W. and enjoyed cooking for their dinners and events.

Her parents, Gus Goza and Ruth Goza preceded her in death a number of years ahead of her. She leaves behind her husband Dave Zollinger of Turlock, CA; a son Robert Zollinger of Modesto, CA; a daughter Ruth Zollinger of Monterey, CA; and two grandchildren David G. Zollinger and Kara Zollinger. All of the family will indeed miss her. They so deeply loved their wife, mother and grandmother.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie in 2010, and a brother, Wallace Carlson. He is survived by his son Steve (Carmen) Silva of Delhi, granddaughter Ally Silva, and many extended family and friends.
Monica is survived by her three children Roxanne Jimenez, Lawrence Jimenez, Anthony and Martinez; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Monique Martinez.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fox; children, Dr. Donald (Brenda) Fox, Douglas (Kim) Fox, Richard (Sheri) Fox, Jean Costa, Jamie (James) Myers, Janae Costa, Justin (Ashley) Costa, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings, June Vandergriff, Marian (John) Alves, Shirley (Kay) Kajiwara, David (Sandra) Fox, and Michael (Beth) Fox.
Cindy is survived by nephew Kevin Shute; nieces Becky Mcevoy and Nellie Shute; 8 great nieces and nephews; 17 great great-nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Lois Brownlow; sister Penny Irene Shute and niece Lisa Sears.
Barbara was born on the Lundell homestead in May 1919, to Henry and Lydia Lundell. She and her three brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Glenn grew up on the ranch, riding in horse and buggies to and from school and church. They also formed a small band, since music was such an important part of their youth.
