Max R. Dahlgren, 56, graduated from Livingston High School in 1978. He worked for G. R. Clark, paving contractor, for 25 years, the last 10 years as foreman. He was also a life-long farmer, starting at the age of five.
Petty Officer Joshua Noz- Born January 19, 1988 in Modesto, CA and passed away while stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. Joshua grew up in Denair, CA, where he attended and graduated from Denair Unified School District and went on to study at Modesto Junior College. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 2011 and quickly excelled as a Machinery Technician. Joshua loved being outdoors, shooting, scuba diving, spending time with family and friends and playing the occasional practical joke on his family and fellow ship mates.
Mary Ann Zornes, 71, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at her residence. Mary Ann was born on June 6, 1944 in Berkeley, CA to the late Robert and Mary Helen (Belcher) Lugar. She worked as a CNA for Bethany Home in Ripon, CA. Mary Ann enjoyed fishing, crafting, and spending time with her grand kids. She was a member of SHARP's for the Manteca Police Department.

She is survived by her father, John Langley, her brother, Chad Langley, her former husband, Don Fryar, children Brittney, Alisha, and Brendon Fryar, grandchildren, Reese Gaston, and Aiden Gaston. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Shirah.

Adrian J. Barr, 26, of Turlock, passed away at Doctor's Medical Center. Adrian was born in San Jose, CA to Marshan and Traci Barr. Adrian started his schooling in San Jose. The family moved to Turlock in 2000. Adrian attended Pitman and graduated from Turlock High School. He continued studying at Merced Jr. College with the goal of majoring in auto mechanics. Adrian enjoyed skate boarding and snowboarding, target shooting, video games, and photography.
Donald James Volk admired the value of hard work and dedication to business and family. Even in his bed at Stanford Hospital Don was checking on company orders, manufacturing details and, at the same time, making sure his family's accommodations and finances were in order. Don was organized and well prepared in life, and for death, and he passed peacefully after a brief illness on March 16 at the age of 67.
