Jim passed away peacefully Monday night with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Tate of Turlock, and 3 daughters; Debra Downing of Turlock, Susanne Salyer of Turlock, and Maureen Goldsmith of Atwater. He has 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a brother, Jerry Tate, of Macon, MO.
Turlock native and veteran missionary John Nathan Lindskoog passed away on March 11 in Modesto. John was born on November 9, 1926 to Florence and Enoch Lindskoog at the Lindskoog dairy on the corner of Faith Home and West Main in Turlock.

The family moved to California when Johnny was 10 and he graduated from Merced High School. He was well known in this area as a cook at Blueberry Hill Restaurant. Long time Turlock resident, Marcia Hartman, passed away Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. Marcia was born in Dallas Texas. She attended Central College in Kansas where she met her college sweetheart David Hartman, Sr. and they married in 1952. After pastoring several churches in both Texas and California they moved to Turlock in 1973. Marcia was employed with the Turlock School District as a secretary for nearly 30 years including 21 years at Osborn School. Marcia's love of music and playing the church organ for 60 years was truly a blessing.
Mary was born the third of eight Lull children in her beloved Rogue Valley and graduated from Central Point High School in 1947. Married to Robert McDonald of Eagle Point, she lived in Pullman, Puyallup and Turlock before they established the family farm in Hughson; where she died after living there for forty-four years.

Alexander Santos Moreno II, 33 of Turlock, passed away unexpectedly at home last Friday. Alex was born in Hayward, CA on November 16, 1979 to Alexander Moreno, Sr. and Oralia Vasquez. Alex graduated from Job Corps in Nevada, worked locally as a forklift operator for several years and has lived in the Turlock area more than 20 years.

Edward Roy Munroe, 84, of Turlock, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at English Oaks Convalescent in Modesto. He grew up in Delhi, CA and after he graduated from Livingston High School he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He settled in Turlock in 1993.
Alma Chambers was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to the daughter of Louis and Marie (Renterghem) Loethen. She moved to Turlock where she graduated from THS in 1958 and married fellow grad, Ronald Chambers, on July 24, 1960 at Sacred Heart Church.
