Josephine Avila, 102, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Saturday, March 12. Josephine was born in Rayon, Sonora, Mexico to Andres and Guadalupe Villa in 1908. Alexander Santos Moreno II, 33 of Turlock, passed away unexpectedly at home last Friday. Alex was born in Hayward, CA on November 16, 1979 to Alexander Moreno, Sr. and Oralia Vasquez. Alex graduated from Job Corps in Nevada, worked locally as a forklift operator for several years and has lived in the Turlock area more than 20 years.
