Tharold was born in Bixby, Oklahoma to Pierce and Hester Dill in 1918 and passed into his loving Father's arms surrounded by his loving family at the age of 96 in Turlock. He attended Bixby High School before moving to Casa Grande, AZ where he met Elaine Darr and they married in1938. Kirk James passed away after a short illness at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. He grew up in Delhi, attended schools there and graduated from Livingston High School in 1976. Kirk worked for Norcal Nursery and for the last 2 ½ years worked for Wendell Trinkler Jr.
