Francis Steichen, 93, passed away at his Turlock home. Fran was born in St. Cloud, MN to Joseph and Mary Steichen. He graduated from St. Cloud Teachers College and moved to California in 1947. He served in the Army 95th Infantry Div. in World War II. He was highly decorated with 2 Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, and a Battlefield Commission as a Second Lieutenant. After the war he met and married the love of his life, Marjorie Henderson, and they were married at Sacred Heart Church in Turlock in August of 1950. Craig Michael Rojas was born January 15, 1960, in Hemet, California, to Abe and Sharon Rojas. He was raised in Turlock and graduated from Turlock schools. He was employed at Turlock Unified School District for over 20 years.

Public viewing will be Sunday, December 29th from 1 – 4pm and Dad's memorial service will take place Monday, December 30th at 2pm with graveside service immediately following. Vynita Rose, age 85, of Turlock, CA passed away on December 24, 2013. Vynita was born in Lees Summit, Missouri to Fred and Merle Halcomb. She moved to California at a young age and lived in the Placerville area before the family moved to Patterson in the early 1940's. Vynita married her high school sweetheart Anthony Rose in 1948. Vynita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Vynita was active in many things, she loved her horses, painting, crafts and most of all her bowling. She was a member of the WIBC and ABC.

Angelina "Angie" T. Goeken-Taylor, 70, passed away December 17, 2013 at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, CA. She was born to the late Elias and Mary Dias on July 26, 1943 in Modesto, CA. Tony was born in Rawlins, Wyoming to Benito and Refugio Aguiniga in 1922. While still an infant, he moved with his family to their native country of Ziquitaro, Michoacan, Mexico. When Tony was a young man of 17 years, he returned to the United States, coming to reside in Turlock, CA. At the age of 21, he married his loving wife, Angelita. William E. Humphrey, 93, of Turlock passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Wednesday, Nov. 27th. Bill was born in Monrovia, CA to Norman and Fannie Humphrey and was raised in the Phoenix area. After graduating high school, Bill joined the Army Air Corp and served as a Pilot during WWII, serving in the Pacific/Tinian & the Philippines.
