Eugene Santos, 68, a lifelong resident of Turlock, passed away on Friday at Emanuel Medical Center.
Jeannette Haran Barbot was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Pierre Haran and Marie Biscaichipy, French Basque immigrants. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 29, 2012. She lived 92 years as a kind, compassionate, loving woman, dedicated to God, family and friends.
Lincoln Esau, 92, of Denair, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House. Lincoln was born in Aberdeen, Idaho to Henry and Mary (Unruh) Esau. The family moved to Kerman, California when Lincoln was 6 months old where he completed his high school education. He has worked in and around agriculture all throughout his life. Lincoln completed an Associate Degree in Agriculture at Pierce Agricultural College. He joined the Air Force in 1943 and served four years on active duty before continuing in the Air Force Reserves until 1971 when he retired from the military as a Major.

Ruth Boyer, 82, of La Mirada, CA passed away on Thursday, January 19 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA. She was born in Turlock to Joseph and Mary Morris. She was raised in the Turlock/Hilmar area and graduated from Hilmar High School in 1948. She was married to James Boyer in 1949, and they lived in Southern California most of their lives. She was a member of the Catholic Church and attended church every where she lived. She enjoyed watching sports especially L.A. Lakers and S.F. 49ers.
Terrence Eugene McSweeney, age 73, passed away at his home in Turlock on August 25th. Terry was born to Eugene and Bette McSweeney in Oakland, CA. Terry was a graduate of Hilmar High School and lived most of his life in Hilmar and Turlock. Terry had many friends and with his outgoing personality, made friends easily. He had a long career in the construction business, ultimately owning two successful construction firms in the area. She was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, then moved to California in 1950 upon marrying Henry Morrett and earning her nursing degree. She worked in hospitals for 19 years and another 10 years as an aerospace industry nurse in southern California. She highly valued her work as an ER nursing supervisor and enjoyed the variety of patients she served.
