Maria Bitbadal, 91, died May 27 at the Regional Medical Center of San Jose. She was born 1920, in Russia to the late Atanos and Ashley Bitbadal. As a young person she moved to Iran. In 1940, Maria came to America and married her husband, David Mooshabad. They settled in San Francisco 30 years ago and belonged to the Assyrian Church of the East in SF. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and traveling.
Robert Forrest, 68, of Turlock passed away May 26 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. He was born January 1942 in Barnsdall, Okla. to R.D. and Georgia Forrest. After he graduated high school he enlisted in United States Army in 1962 from Fresno and served a four-year term. He worked in agriculture and settled in Turlock 30 years ago.
