Leilah Stone, 96, of Turlock, passed away on Feb. 12 at Bel Air Lodge Convalescent Hospital. She was born in St. Joe, Mo. to Frank and Florence McCumber in 1914. Jack Kenneth Rosevear was called to Heaven by his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 3. All his family and friends will miss him dearly. Jack was born in Lead, S.D. on June 10, 1923. He moved to Mill Valley, Calif. with his parents, John Charles Rosevear "Jack" and Iris Isabelle Thompson Rosevear, a year later. He graduated from Mt. Tamalpais High School and worked in the ship yard with his brother, William Alfred "Nick," during World War II in Sauselito.

She was a teacher's aide for Turlock Unified School District for 20 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock and Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, S.P.R.S.I. Council 151 of Hilmar and Y.L.I. St. Patrick's Institute #223 of Hilmar. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, spending time with family and watching golf and NASCAR racing.
