Becky Huntington, 48 of Turlock, passed away unexpectedly at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born in San Jose and attended schools in Modesto and San Jose. After graduating from High School she completed further studies at a Career College for her work in medical records administration. She was a hard worker. In addition to working in radiology and admitting at Emanuel Medical Center, Becky worked a second job to help make ends meet and to take care of her boys.

George Piro was born on Nov. 27, 1955, in Tehran, Iran to Peiro and Zina Piro. As a young boy George often accompanied his father to work at Café Argentine, the family restaurant. Once there he would convince his dad to let him go to the movie theater right next door where his love of movies began.

Janice Bache, 75, of Delhi, passed away Saturday in Turlock. She was born at Emanuel Hospital in Turlock to Andrew and Virginia (Bliss) Young.
Marilyn Jean Stapp passed into the arms of her Savior and Lord at her home in Denair on March 7, 2011, after a 10-month battle with cancer.
Ruby was born in Oklahoma to Charles and Katie Holland in 1926, and moved to Porterville in the 1930s during the dust bowl. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft and later worked in San Francisco as a waitress. In 1961, Ruby moved to Turlock where she lived and operated a taxi service for 25 years. She lived in Fresno for the last seven years. Her hobbies included gardening and working on crossword puzzles.
Bill Green passed away in Marysville, Washington after a long battle with Cancer. Completing his Vietnam tour with the United States Army in 1969, he began a 30 year career in the electronics distribution industry. His work took him to Michigan, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and California. He spent 12 years in Turlock. While living there he held the position of Business Manager for The Turlock Salvation Army.
Longtime Turlock/Hilmar resident Emogene Elmquist passed away peacefully at her home on April 12, 2015 at the age of 86, following a short illness.
Violet was born in Idaho Falls, ID and moved to Arkansas as an infant where she spent her childhood before settling in California at the age of 13. On December 15, 1951 she married William "Pat" McLaughlin. She and Pat worked and lived in the Turlock and Denair areas for many years where she worked on the dairy and also for a hatchery. Kevin Richard Stach, 75, of Turlock, passed away at his home on April 12, 2105. He was born July 4, 1939 in Nezperce, Idaho. After graduating from high school in Olympia, Washington he came to California and worked at the General Motors plant in Fairfield. When the plant closed and moved to Missouri he relocated there and finished his career with GM. After retiring Mr. Stach moved to Turlock. Kevin was a dune buggy enthusiast and loved working on Volkswagens. He volunteered at the Turlock V.F.W. and enjoyed cooking for their dinners and events.

Her parents, Gus Goza and Ruth Goza preceded her in death a number of years ahead of her. She leaves behind her husband Dave Zollinger of Turlock, CA; a son Robert Zollinger of Modesto, CA; a daughter Ruth Zollinger of Monterey, CA; and two grandchildren David G. Zollinger and Kara Zollinger. All of the family will indeed miss her. They so deeply loved their wife, mother and grandmother.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie in 2010, and a brother, Wallace Carlson. He is survived by his son Steve (Carmen) Silva of Delhi, granddaughter Ally Silva, and many extended family and friends.
Monica is survived by her three children Roxanne Jimenez, Lawrence Jimenez, Anthony and Martinez; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Monique Martinez.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fox; children, Dr. Donald (Brenda) Fox, Douglas (Kim) Fox, Richard (Sheri) Fox, Jean Costa, Jamie (James) Myers, Janae Costa, Justin (Ashley) Costa, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings, June Vandergriff, Marian (John) Alves, Shirley (Kay) Kajiwara, David (Sandra) Fox, and Michael (Beth) Fox.
Cindy is survived by nephew Kevin Shute; nieces Becky Mcevoy and Nellie Shute; 8 great nieces and nephews; 17 great great-nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Lois Brownlow; sister Penny Irene Shute and niece Lisa Sears.
Barbara was born on the Lundell homestead in May 1919, to Henry and Lydia Lundell. She and her three brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Glenn grew up on the ranch, riding in horse and buggies to and from school and church. They also formed a small band, since music was such an important part of their youth.
